The ski areas. with a total of 300 km of slopes. are made up of Obertauern. Grosseck-Speiereck. Aineck-Katschberg and Fanningberg. The Lungau area is known for its many hours of sun and guaranteed snow. and is characterized by high mountains. green hills. forests. lakes. gorges. caves and waterfalls. In the village there is a trailhead for a walk along the lovely waterfalls.
